The racket was allegedly run by a group of private individuals, the agency said in an official release.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The CBI registered the cyber fraud case on August 8, 2025, naming six accused \u2014 all Mumbai residents \u2014 along with unidentified individuals and certain bank officials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The FIR claims the suspects conspired to commit large-scale financial fraud by running a fake \u201cAmazon Support Services\u201d call centre.
