Los Angeles [US], January 13, 2026:, BNN Web Staff: Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo used the high-profile platform of the 83rd Golden Globe Awards to sharply condemn US President Donald Trump, calling him “the worst human being” amid nationwide outrage over the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer in Minneapolis.

Ruffalo — nominated for his role in the HBO series Task — appeared on the red carpet wearing a “Be Good” pin, part of a broader celebrity protest spotlighting immigration enforcement and the controversial killing of Good, a 37-year-old mother of three.

The symbolic gesture was also adopted by other stars, including Wanda Sykes and Natasha Lyonne, as they sought to draw attention to calls for accountability and policy reform.

Speaking to reporters, the Avengers star paid tribute to Good, describing her death as a tragedy. He expanded his remarks by sharply criticizing Trump’s broader political conduct, including the administration’s stance on international governance and immigration enforcement.

Ruffalo accused the president of prioritizing his own interests over moral leadership, declaring that relying on such leadership “for the most powerful country in the world” posed serious concerns.

Ruffalo’s comments came as the country grapples with the highly charged aftermath of the Minneapolis incident, which has sparked protests and intense debate over ICE practices and civil rights.

Political figures, including members of the Trump administration, have defended law enforcement actions, citing self-defense claims, even as public and celebrity voices call for deeper scrutiny and reform.

The outspoken actor also acknowledged the surreal nature of celebrating Hollywood achievements amid national tensions, saying that the current climate makes it difficult to remain silent.

His remarks, widely shared across social media and news outlets, have ignited both praise and criticism from the public and political commentators alik
