Supreme Court announces major relief for 1,158 Assistant Professors and Librarians of Punjab
Chandigarh: The Supreme Court has delivered a major relief for higher education in Punjab by permitting 1,158 assistant professors and librarians to continue serving in government colleges until fresh recruitment takes place.
The ruling ensures that academic activities in colleges remain uninterrupted and students do not face any disruption in their studies.
Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains welcomed the decision, describing it as an important step in safeguarding the interests of both students and faculty.
