Sangrur (Punjab): The Deputy Commissioner of Sangrur has declared a local holiday on August 20, 2025, on the occasion of the Barsi (death anniversary) of Sant Harchand Singh Longowal.
As per the order, all government offices, boards, corporations, and educational institutions in Sangrur district will remain closed on the day. However, this holiday will be treated as a local holiday, and it will not apply to government treasuries, sub-treasuries, or banks, which will remain open.
