Gurdaspur youth dies under mysterious circumstances in Kuwait

Gurdaspur (Punjab): Grief has engulfed Chak Aaliya village near Dera Baba Nanak after the death of Manjit Singh, a young man who had moved to Kuwait nearly 18 months ago in search of work. He reportedly died there under mysterious circumstances.
Manjit Singh, the sole breadwinner of his family, had been married just a year ago. His untimely death has left his elderly father and wife shattered.
According to his father, Jaswant Singh, a daily wage labourer, Manjit had spoken to his wife over the phone after returning from work a day earlier.
During the call, he mentioned feeling unwell and com
plained of indigestion. He was advised to seek medical attention but was unable to reach a hospital. The family last spoke to him around midnight on Friday. The next morning, one of his friends informed them that Manjit had passed away.
