Teej Festival Celebrated with Traditional Fervor at PSPCL Officers’ Club
Patiala, August 15, 2026: The festival of Teej was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy by women officers of the department, alongside the spouses of PSPCL officers, at the Officers’ Club in Power Colony, Patiala. On this occasion, the attendees shared the happiness of Teej adorned in traditional Punjabi attire and cultural colors.
During the event, the women enjoyed traditional Punjabi folk songs, Giddha (traditional dance), and various other entertainment activities. The traditional outfits and vibrant decorations further added color to the celebrations. The gathering provided an opportunity for everyone to foster mutual affection, community harmony, and relive memories associated with Punjab’s rich cultural heritage.
Sharing their joy on the occasion, Baljeet Kaur, Harleen Kaur Brar, and Poonam Sood expressed that Teej is an integral festival of Punjabi culture.
