Chandigarh: E-auction of new ‘CHO1DA’ vehicle series, leftover fancy numbers begins

Chandigarh — The Chandigarh Administration has announced the e-auction of the new vehicle registration series “CH01DA” along with the re-auction of leftover fancy/special numbers from the “CH01CZ”, “CH01CY”, “CH01CX” and “CH01CW” series.
Registration for participation began on August 11 at 10:00 AM and will remain open until August 18 at 5:00 PM. The e-bidding process will run from August 19 (10:00 AM) to August 21 (5:00 PM).
Vehicle owners can register through the National Transport website https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy or via the Chandigarh Administration Transport Department portal www.chdtransport.gov.in to obtain a Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN).
Only those who have purchased a vehicle with a Chandigarh address are eligible to participate. Applicants must provide Form No. 21 (Sale Letter), Aadhaar card, and Chandigarh address proof. After online registration, participants must deposit the registration fee and the reserve amount for the selected number at the Registering & Licensing Authority (RLA), Sector-17, Chandigarh, via demand draft payable to “Registering & Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh.”
