Punjab School Education Board Gives Relief to Students, Admission Deadline Extended to August 31

Keeping the future of students studying in schools affiliated with the Punjab School Education Board in mind, the deadline for admissions for the 2026-27 academic session has been extended. According to the notice issued by the Board, the earlier deadline of August 22, 2026, has now been extended to August 31, 2026.
The Board has clarified that along with the extension of the admission deadline, the dates for online registration/continuation of the concerned students have also been extended. The last opportunity to enter students’ details on the Unified Student Registration Portal has also been provided until August 31, 2026.
According to the schedule issued by the Board for the extension of the registration/continuation process, a fee of Rs 2,000 per student has been prescribed for the unregistered category, along with the applicable late fee payable by the school. The application date mentioned in the schedule is August 9, 2026, while the last date for online entry and submission of the fee through the portal is August 31, 2026.
The Board has further directed that the conditions mentioned in the previously issued schedule/instructions will continue to remain applicable. All registration-related proceedings must be completed in accordance with the prescribed rules and instructions.
