AstraZeneca company admits risk of heart attack and brain stroke with Covidshield vaccine

British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has admitted that its Covid-19 vaccine may have dangerous side effects.

According to several UK media reports, AstraZeneca has made the admission in court documents in connection with a case that alleges that the vaccine, developed with the University of Oxford, caused death and serious injury in dozens of cases.

A vaccine called Covishield was made in India using AstraZeneca’s formula due to this disease, blood clots form in the body and the number of platelets decreases. Due to this, there is also a risk of heart attack and stroke (Heart Attack and Brain Stroke).

51 cases are pending against the company in the High Court. The victims have demanded compensation of about 1 thousand crore rupees from AstraZeneca.
