More than 60 Delhi-NCR schools get bomb threats

New Delhi: As many as 60 schools in Delhi-NCR have reportedly received bomb threats via e-mail on Wednesday. This was confirmed by Fire Services Director Atul Garg. As per reports, multiple schools received bomb threat emails around 4:15 a.m.

 Delhi Police’s Special Cell has initiated a probe investigation into the bomb threats sent to several schools, So far, nothing suspicious has been found. 

 Meanwhile, Delhi LG VK Saxena has sought a detailed probe on the matter from the Delhi Police Commissioner.

“Spoke to the Police Commissioner and sought a detailed report into the bomb threats at schools in Delhi-NCR. Directed Delhi Police to carry out a thorough search of school premises, identify the culprits & ensure there are no lapses. I request the parents not to panic and cooperate with the administration in ensuring the safety of schools and the children. The miscreants & culprits will not be spared.” LG VK Saxena told ANI.
