India-Canada: S Jaishankar reacts to Canada arrest of 3 Indians in Nijjar muder cases
New Delhi: The Minister of External Affairs, S. Jaishankar, stated that India will wait on making further disclosures regarding the three men detained and accused of killing terrorist Khalistani separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar until the Canadian police provide additional details.
S Jaishankar said that investigation into Nijjar’s death is an internal Canadian matter that is unrelated to India.
First-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder are the charges brought against Indian nationals living in Edmonton, Karan Brar, 22, Kamalpreet Singh, 22, and Karanpreet Singh, 28 by Canadian police.
