Himachal Pradesh Accident: 4 Punjab pilgrims killed, 23 injured in Kangra

Kangra (Himachal Pradesh): A devastating accident in Kangra district on Friday morning left four pilgrims from Punjab dead and 23 others injured.
The victims, hailing from Bagike village in Moga district, were on their way back from Chamunda Devi Temple when their pickup vehicle lost control and fell into a deep gorge near Jadrangal on the Chamunda-Dharamshala road.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. at Iku Morh. Swift action by local residents and police ensured that all injured — including 15 children — were promptly shifted to nearby hospitals.
Those who lost their lives have been identified as Lambi Singh (35), Jasvir Singh (35), Paramjit Kaur (40), and Kiran (33).
According to Dr. Milap Sharma, Principal of Tanda Medical College and Hospital, 13 of the injured are in critical condition, while 10 others suffered minor injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
