In a significant political development, former Sri Hargobindpur MLA Balwinder Singh Laddi joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday, dealing a major setback to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Punjab.

Laddi was inducted into the party in the presence of AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia, Punjab AAP President Aman Arora, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, and Chief Minister’s OSD Rajvir Singh.

Before joining AAP, Laddi was serving as the Chairman of the BJP Panchayati Cell and General Secretary of the BJP SC Morcha in Punjab.
