Suspended senior IPS officer SPS Parmar reinstated

Chandigarh: The Punjab Government has revoked the suspension order issued against IPS officer Surinder Pal Singh Parmar (1997 batch) with immediate effect.

According to the official notification, the earlier suspension stands withdrawn.

The order has been issued under the authority of the Governor of Punjab. The Home Affairs Department clarified that posting orders for the officer will be issued separately in due course. Until then, the officer has been directed to report to the Director General of Police, Punjab.
